Exciting news everyone! Our friends Steven and Brian have officially joined the Doof! Network with their show We Want MOR analyzing Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality (“HPMOR”) by Eliezer Yudkowsky.
The Doof! Network is all about appreciating stories and storytelling. HPMOR is the most widely read and beloved Harry Potter fanfiction in existence, and deserves a close reading and analysis by those merits. But beyond that, HPMOR was a powerful gateway for many people, including yours truly. This story is a portal to an entirely different way of thinking about the world. It’s truly a great story and I’m personally excited to follow Steven and Brian on their journey through a very different Hogwarts.
We Want MOR is a great fit for the vision of what we’re trying to do with this network of shows. We look forward to bringing this new show to the existing Doof! listeners, and we welcome our new We Want MOR listeners to check out what we have to offer.
